Lambabaun
contemporary folk-pop performed by seven of Boston's most sought after classical and commercial musicians.
Corrine Byrne and Jack Byrne have taken their life-long collaboration as siblings to this next project - with Corrine's love of folk and pop music, and coming from her experience as an early and contemporary classical singer and chamber musician, she contributes original music with the vibrance of many different musical experiences and perspectives. Jack Byrne adds his voice and songwriting flavor to the project as well as his intricate guitar and banjo playing. Members of Lambabaun have been heard nationally and internationally with ensembles such as Bang on a Can, Signal, Bjorkestra, Emmanuel Music, Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Boston Baroque, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Philharmonic, Boston Gay Men's Chorus, and at venues including Broadway, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, MoMA, the Muskverein, NYC clubs/venues including the cell, the Triad Theater, Somethin' Jazz Club, The Metropolitan Room, Cornelia Street Cafe, and Boston venues including Regatta Bar, the Middle East, Passim, Zuzu, Aeronaut Brewing Company, The Jungle, and the Burren.
